Frequently Asked Questions About Inshore Fishing Charters

All charters aboard the Freeman include rods, reels, bait, tackle, fuel, and fish cleaning. Everything you need — just show up ready to fish.

We recommend bringing drinks, snacks, sunscreen, a hat, sunglasses, appropriate fishing or boat attire, and zip lock bags if you’d like to take fillets home with you.

In Texas, anyone 17 years of age or older must have a valid fishing license to fish in public waters. You can purchase one at Walmart, Academy, or online at www.tpwd.texas.gov. If you are riding along but not fishing, this does not apply.

The Freeman can accommodate up to 6 guests per charter.

The price listed is for your entire group. This is a private charter — it will only be your group on the boat with the captain and crew.

We guarantee we will put forth our absolute best effort! Fishing is subject to natural conditions we can’t always control, but our captains know these waters and know how to find fish. Our promise is honesty and a commitment to giving you an unforgettable experience.

Our crew earns a daily wage supplemented by tips, similar to a restaurant server. Tipping is discretionary, but 20% is the customary standard for good service.
